Trade Partnership Worldwide, LLC was founded in 2001 by Laura Baughman, Dr. Joseph Francois and Dr. Dean Spinanger  to build a global reach into the research and consulting activities of The Trade Partnership, which Laura founded in 1991. The two firms worked in tandem for 20 years to produce clear, concise and useful information about the impacts of trade policies.

In 2021, The Trade Partnership merged its work into that of Trade Partnership Worldwide, and Daniel Anthony joined as a partner; Dr. Francois joined Dr. Spinanger as a Senior Fellow.
